Weekly Photo Challenge: My 2012 in Pictures – A Year In Cornwall

29 Dec

These are the photographs that I have had made into a calendar for my family who all live away from Cornwall – in Munich, Germany; in Atlanta, Georgia; in Volcano, Hawaii; in Warsaw, Poland; in Exeter, Devon;  in North Finchley, London; in Barcelona, Spain; in Dakar, Senegal and in Chilla, Devon.

Please click on any photo to reach the enlargement and to read the full caption. I have used the rectangular gallery setting but it won’t put the photos in chronological so I’ve given you them not in a gallery as well. Which do you prefer?

Thank you, my eagle eyed friend! I’m not a fan of typos having been an English teacher in a former life. The name of my blog happened by accident too – but I liked it as it sounds Cornish so I kept it!
          🙂

You are welcome! Being land locked here in Central Virginia, your coastline photos are soothing. I love England, yet have not been there in twenty years! Would love to take a garden tour there someday, if only I could overcome the jet lag! You are blessed. I am currently hooked on a PBS show named Doc Martin–ever watched it? Another English gem…

Lovely photos. I agree with you about the gallery format. Some of the photos are too small to do them justice. I know you can enlarge with clicking, but it’s just not the same. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too. Someone suggested I try the circular gallery and I do like that one for the flowers (today’s photo challenge post) Not sure it would work with other photos though. I may try it again. 🙂

I think you were a professional photographer in a previous life! You have such a good eye for it. I like the gallery format best but either way they are lovely. Have you had a play-around with the circular gallery option?

Thank you for your kind words! No, I haven’t tried the circular one yet. Perhaps I’ll try that with the year of flowers that I’m just collecting together.
All the best to you 🙂

Thank you! That’s how I feel too but WordPress keep pushing the gallery format so I thought I’d try it again.

Thank you for taking the time to call in and comment – much appreciated. 🙂
