My choir, The Suitcase Singers have been part of this festival, the biggest free music festival in Europe, on the opening day this afternoon. We are in the middle of a storm warning and the heavens have opened this afternoon so the kind people of the Falmouth Hotel allowed us to sing inside instead of on the outdoor stage. 
The audience were fabulous and seemed to really appreciate us and we loved the performance.
Just opposite the hotel is Castle Beach, the place where my lovely Mr Smith gave me my engagement ring 58 years ago! The tide was out on that occasion. 🙂
