Bridge, River and Pain au Chocolat

We have crossed The Tamar on the Brunel Bridge, left Cornwall and come to London for four days. I love how the boats all line up un the river which today was so very still. We met T, LiveWire No 3, from school and took her to our favourite cafe, Joie de Vie, for a treat.

Travelling to Visit the LiveWires

We love the long train journey to London. After the hoohah of getting ready, the moment we step on the train we begin our adventure which starts with three days in London with family……..  Click on any photo for the captions and a bigger view.

We left Cornwall in 10C and arrived  in London to 25C! Stepping off the air-conditioned train was like stepping off a plane in Greece!    Last night we had no WiFi hence the late post.

Murals, B&B and Signs in the Pub

1. As my readers know, I love the five hour journey from home to London. Today I managed to get a photo of these murals in Cornwall just before the Brunel Bridge.

2. We’re spending the night at this delightful B&B near Heathrow.

3. The local pub is very friendly and has these pleasing signs on the wall.
