I love singing and this afternoon was back at our choir rehearsal. It appears that the happy chemicals seratonin, oxytocin and dopamine are all released when singing together and I certainly fely better for the session.
Our annual concert is only six days away! We are celebrating the Ingleheart Singers’ 20th Anniversary. I have been in the choir for the last 18 years and 7 months and our concert is going to have a selection of pieces from those last 20 years. If you are local, do come and join us and please, introduce yourself! It will be an evening full to bursting with JOY!
We are collecting memorabilia of those years and today I took along a poster and programmes from Until The Day Break, a wonderful open air theatre production I was instrumental in producing. Claire had brought in a card from a wedding we sang at and at which I was the Humanist Celebrant.
