Truro – A Short Walk

27 Jul

I had a spare hour in Truro today and walked some old haunts finding lovely things. The blooms everywhere were remarkable, I found a Chough at the bus station and rediscovered the Victorian post box.

I have started wearing a pedometer when I walk. Even the steps we do around the house or yard count as well as the longer more vigorous ones.

So do I! It’s pleasing to notch up steps just around the house. It also amuses me that when I whisk a sauce or beat eggs, the pedometer records me as walking! 🙂

Everything counts – even getting up to get a little snack while watching TV.

We’re lucky that it is still there and properly valued along with the red phone box. 🙂
