In Truro this morning I was very taken with the beautiful hanging baskets. On the way home, we admired a couple of the many baskets in Redruth from the car.
A lovely warm afternoon invited us into the garden with ice creams.
There are so few butterflies in our garden this year but today there was a Meadow Brown. You’ll have to look carefully to see it in the (rather dry) grass.

Gorgeous baskets! And, oh, the simple pleasure of ice cream in the garden. 😀

Each town has their lovely baskets. The waterers go out at 6.30 am every day watering them all to keep the beautiful. 🙂

I am so wanting to see some more butterflies. They are. of course, very flighty and consequently, very hard to catch in a photo! 🙂

We’ve noticed there are a lot less butterflies this year. Fingers crossed that we start seeing more soon x
