Shadow, Cake and Raindrops

12 Nov

The low sun coming through the kitchen window at breakfast this morning, lit up one of my favourite mugs on the dresser and cast a very clear shadow.

I made another new cake for Roots’ volunteers, Apple and Almond cake. It turned out really well with one young volunteer saying it was the best cake he had ever eaten! I’ll make it again!

There were some beautiful raindrops as I walked about the farm this morning, collecting lavender for cuttings and loving everything I could see.

The photograph of the mug is really beautiful! As is the entire post. I feel uplifted!

Thank you. I was delighted with the photo. I had to be quick on the uptake as the sunbeams were moving so quickly and the shape of the shadow changing almost minute by minute. 🙂

I love the way light and shadows can change the look of things. That cake looks amazing.

Interesting isn’t it? The shadow shapes changed minute by minute. 🙂
