While I was making breakfast this morning the lovely Mr S saw a sky kiss in the almost blue sky and took this photo for me. 
We walked on the beach this afternoon, the beach being almost empty but dozens of surfers in the water. I asked one of them why there were so many here today, were the waves good and he beamed, saying, “The best we’ve had in weeks!”
Bonfire party night at the allotment this evening, soup and bread, a wonderful bonfire and piggybacking on the town display from our advantage point at the top of the allotment plots.

We were! It didn’t last long but was very good to see for a while. This anticyclonic gloom is very oppressive. All the best to you. 🙂
