In town today, the trees in Fore Street are turning golden as Autumn takes them.
In Make A Mends today were two items that I covet! The cardigan I have to go back and try on. I just love the poem on the back!
I love the embroidery on the jacket but the sleeves were too short for me. I did try this one on but reluctantly left it behind for someone else to buy and love.

I’m hoping the worm one will still be there when I go into town tomorrow. I need to try it on and maybe bring it home! 🙂

As your leaves turn golden our Jacarandas are beginning to bloom… a sign summer is on the way. Still waiting for the first rains up here in Johannesburg. Everything is dry as a none. The mercury hit almost 36c today. Just a tad warm, I’d say. 😊

It’s always fascinating to realise the upsidedownness of our seasons. I hope your Spring is beautiful and that you get some rain but not too much. That temperature is already too much. Stay cool! 🙂

Another oven hot day. I have done a couple of necessary garden chores this morning but now I have abandoned such labour and I’m thinking of the ice cold beer in the fridge. 😉

It sounds as if you had earned the ice cold beer. I hope it went down a treat. 🙂

Indeed it did!
Been warm all week and no let up until Monday or Tuesday when we may have some rain.

I hope you do. In fact, you could have some of ours – we are having more than enough to share. 🙂

So I see. I follow a local FB page from Chester and there seems to be a fair amount of flooding.
Canoes and wellies being standard fare at the moment.
