Our eldest daughter came down for the day which was a surprise and a delight. We went to our favourite place for lunch, The Blue Bar in Porthtowan, and then had a walk on the beach in a biting cold wind.
We followed a car with a good array of stickers on the back showing her love of Cornwall and a random one of Highland cattle. 🙂
We all three did some work in the allotment this afternoon, so good to have some help, and I was delighted to spot the first two baby tomatoes on the plants in the poly tunnel.

Agreed. I love walking on the beach, not one for sitting but love just being there, hearing and watching the waves and breathing in the ocean air. 🙂

We went for a walk on the beach this morning.
No “biting cold wind” was evident ~ instead, temps in the low 80’s with a slight breeze to keep things cool-ish kept us company.

That sounds perfect! It is still really cold here, most unusual for nearly June! 🙂

I have a few ( surprise) late self seeded tomato plants that have just flowered. But as we are now entering frost season I doubt we will get any fruit.
Bit chilly down here today, and winter looms. Brrrrr!

Bit chilly here as summer has yet to show up! Can you keep your tomatoes warm? You never know, they might give you a fruit or two…. 🙂
