Another scorcher today though the morning started with thunderstorms and a strange smell of smoke. The smell was reported all over West Cornwall and was, according to the meteorologists, not smoke from a fire but the lightning burning dust in the atmosphere!
I’m loving the colours in our border with the Day Lilies, Eryngium and, just opening, the Agapanthus and some Alstromoeria.
The Leucanthemum, Goldfinch is just turning from yellow to white.
