Yellow, Purple and San Isidro

16 Feb

It is lovely to see Spring springing up all over the garden. The Tete a tete outside the kitchen are bringing a yellow glow  to the wall garden.

The purple crocuses are nearly over but still lovely.

One of our Christmas presents from dear friends who know and share our love of gardening, was a lovely plaque to the Saint of Gardeners, Saint Isidore. His story in the next photo is delightful.

Poor crocuses, they arrive in the worst of the weather.

They do and I love their vibrancy. Its just a shame they are so short lived. 🙂

I suspect there won’t be many after tomorrow. Stay safe Sally.

You were right but the tenacity of the little Tete a Tete is remarkable. 🙂
