Autumn Garden, Trellis and RBG

19 Sep

Most flowers in our garden as Autumn comes are white so they glow in the early morning or evening light.

Garden in September

We’ve both been painting trellis all day! We have nearly finished, just one more top coat on one section and it can go back on the newly painted wall.

Painted in Farrow and Ball’s Hague Blue to match the doors done last month

The very sad  news of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death came today. We first learned of her when she was a much admired Law Professor at Columbia University School of Law in New York, USA. My brother was in her classes. Her humanity will be much missed.

How remarkable your brother was taught by her. It is devastating news and I worry about my kids’ futures.

I second the RBG film recommendations of nrhatch and mourn the passing of our great Supreme Court judge.

RBG was the real deal. She did so much for women’s rights and equality. Two great films featuring her ~ RBG, and On The Basis of Sex. Both worth a watch.

Thank you for those recommendations. She was an amazing woman.
