What a joy! I have had a proper camera in my hands today thanks to a dear friend who has lent me her Nikon Coolpix until my faulty Canon is mended or I have bought a new Nikon, my preferred make, having been let down by three, yes, three (!) Canons which have all had a ‘lens error’, two outside warranty. Thank you so much. M.
So, here goes, photos from today when the lovely Mr S took me out to straighten out my wires and for us to spend our Garden token Christmas present. We found several air cleaning house plants as on NASA’s list and are very happy with them. Thanks L, T and B.
From there we went first to Pentreath where the surfers were enjoying the waves and thence to Mount’s Bay, a perennial favourite, and watched the sunset.

As long you have the proper eyes, that being, reverence of your surrounds you will always take good pictures -which you do. Once you push the button, your saying, ‘this is important to me in some way’.
Sorry haven’t been around forsometime. Been away for quite awhile, and for the most part unplugged. So am catching up -nothing new about that though.

Being unplugged is good, allows recharging of the batteries. Nice to see you back. 🙂

True. But it also allowed for painting and renovating the new place.

Thank you. What a relief and a pleasure to hold a real camera again! Mine died while we were in London in December and I had to wait to go up to Exeter to take it for repair a week ago. I have heard nothing yet! Fingers crossed!🙂

Love the sunset pictures. I understand your pain about having a proper camera. The Nikon Digital 5100 my in-laws recently passed on to me has really been great! I wore out my little Canon lol!

I am researching what to get next should the repair not be done under warranty for some reason. Always optimistic, I find myself feeling sceptical about Canon’s response….. I’ll let you know. 🙂
