Sunset at Porthtowan

30 Sep

Yet another beautiful day and we headed off to Porthtowan for sunset. We were not disappointed.

As we arrived

As we arrived

Sliding into the sea

Sliding into the sea

Half an hour and a glass of red later

Mother Nature has her own color palette and it is a beauty. 🙂

Can we ever be certain of its return, giving thanks for another day of loving …

Sunset at Porthtowan, I will simply grunt.

Such splendid wonder are sunsets, that levels the ground; allowing escape from hot overcrowded tenements for some, shear contrast to the high tech digitized trappings for others, so many unfortunate realities people must endure. No wonder the sun setting draws a crowd especially by oceans the world over. Simple pleasure. A time, if only brief, to connect with the energy of something bigger than our collective past and future. Thank you.

Magnificent Sally. It’s the one thing I miss, the sea and sunsets like that. 🙂
