I have ‘planted’ some Hyacinth bulbs today in my Mum’s hyacinth glasses and put them in the dark to sprout. They should be in flower for Christmas. I shall keep you posted. It is so lovely to know that my hands are doing what my Mum’s hands did for so many years and that she passed on her love of all things growing to me.

This is a blanket made for Blue Light Babies, a group aiming to provide every frontline ambulance in the UK with little hats and blankets, especially for babies who are born under the blue light as they arrive in the world before arriving at the hospital.
