1 I love this sign for the Park and Float – park your car out of town and float in a boat up the river to Falmouth.

2 It was the Grand Medieval Joust day at Pendennis Castle today and we had great fun, the children painting their own shields, watching the falconry demonstrations and getting thoroughly involved in the Knight fighting demonstrations!
I can fight with my sword too!

Looks like a wonderful day. Love the images. “Pendennis Castle” – now there’s a name that invokes memories in me. I remember as a little boy standing in the Durban Harbour and waving goodbye to passengers on the Pendennis Castle as she made her way out to sea on her long journey to the UK.
