Runner Beans, Sunset and Moon Rise

19 Aug

1   We have harvested some beans and there are lots of flowers and some small furry beans still growing.

Stunning moon images – the moon isn’t an easy object to capture … you do a fantastic job. I have a couple of post about the moon too – my new camera (instant) can take really amazing close ups of the moon, but it hard to not shake the arms. *smile

I love the image of the cow parsley against the setting son. It kind of reminds me of an image from the movie “Brother Son Sister Moon.” where St Francis strips and stands naked with his hands lifted up to the setting son. Those little branches look like raised arms bidding the sun farewell.

Is it my imagination or has the moon never been rounder?

Very nice. I just brought in another batch of pole beans. They are doing very well this year. They are climbing on a 2 meter tall tripod. Some fencing keeps the deer from eating them. Tasty.
