Our Garden Spring 2008 and July 2013

29 Jul

When we moved in, almost half of our garden was a nearly derelict workshop – but we had a vision! Here you can see it then and now.

How beautiful! As a fellow gardener, I know how much work it took to make that happen. Just amazing!

I love the effort you put into making your garden a haven… and a heaven! The only place for the former blue paint is in, I don’t know, a hospital room, I think! You certainly have that green thumb I was complaining about not having… and yet, now my plants are in bloom! I think y’all are rubbing off on me… Amy

Thank you! It has been hard work, mainly by the lovely Mr S, I have to admit! We both plan: he digs and I plant!

Hi you Womad Nomads! I am truly impressed with the transformation of your garden. I remember when we first met, we discussed where to get topsoil. It has come a long way since then. Well done you two..XX

That is such a nicer view, isn’t it? What are you doing with the things in the former shed?

I imagine you are out there enjoying your garden often. Nice job.

The shed/workshop had been emptied of its machinery by the former owners and we just stored garden stuff in it until we were ready to demolish it – a much harder and more expensive job than we had anticipated but so much worth every drop of sweat and every penny to have the monstrosity gone! 🙂

Splendid transformation – although being a chap of a certain age it is the shed that fascinates 🙂
