1 Spring has sprung all of a sudden! In the days that I was away, the bluebells down the lanes are casting their beautiful blue haze and flowers in neighbours’ gardens are glowing. I wish I could send you the scent of the wallflowers.
2 Ferns in the hedgerows are unfurling. I just love the furriness and the curliness of young ferns.
3 Everyone is enjoying the Spring sunshine, especially this old fellow in his cloth cap on the bench outside the garden centre.

We have the bluebells and the ferns also. A bit of rain last night and today means everything will have a growth spurt.

Ths spring seems better than ever – perhaps because we’ve had to wait so long for it!

We as well have had a quick warm up thanks to a southerly jet stream. Things have exploded over night almost. But nothing comes close to yours, am jealous. Really. I was in England and Scotland in May once. The green of spring there has been permanently etched in this mind.
Your photos -well momma natura has her brush out and she knows how to use it. Sweeping strokes of petals, flecks of red, yours eyes and lens captured, thank you for the blast.

What a character! Reminds me of a chap who had a plot on our allotment site when we lived at our old house.
