1 It was very atmospheric in Tehidy Woods last night.
2 The grape hyacinths are coming out in force now and are very beautiful.
3 I have finished the tiny little trousers for Grand-baby B – they are one of the most pleasing little things I have made. They are called Kanoko pants because “Kanoko” is from Japanese term “Kanoko-ami” which means “seed(moss) stitches” and I have to thank Harumidori designs for the delightful and very easy pattern.

Those woods are like a scene from a movie. Beautiful capture. I can feel the cool, the moist air, the spirit of it.

Eery woods but beautiful too! You must live in such a beautiful part of the world. I get the impression that you are near water too?
Oh look at those little wee pants they are too cute!

Yes, we are very lucky being in Cornwall – beautiful countryside and an amazing coastline. I loved the little pants too – can’t wait to see them being worn! 🙂

Such a poetic picture of the woods… such mystery….lovely…
And the trousers! – irresistible… lovely moss stitch, and exquisitely knitted plain and purl! – what a skilled knitter you are… but I think of all your beautiful things it will be the wearer of the trousers!!!

‘the woods’…..I see a face and it sees me. Face to face. It is the face I return night after night.
This one goes beyond, reaching into that special middle ground. That funky space between obvious and not so obvious.

There is! It’s a fabulous metal sculpture of a big crow and we love him! We took the trousers up to Exeter today for our new Grandbaby who is much better. I look forward to seeing the trousers on Baby B! 🙂

I thought I saw a bird!… and I know your heart sang when you saw your daughter and Baby B…
and I know there were “oos and ahs” over the trousers…

We were in the woods with our neighbours, Wildworks, at the preview of their new show. It was a thoroughly spooky and atmospheric evening.
We delivered the little trousers this evening and met our new Granddaughter! She may be allowed home in a couple of days!
It’s nice to recognise a face!
