All today’s beautiful things come from our walk around Godrevy this morning, at first in bright sunshine and then in grey clould, hence the difference in the colour of the water! Join us on our walk and click on any photo for more detail. It was the first time we had seen seals frolicking in the waters before the island is reached. The usual crowd were on their beach on the far side.

Rainbow, Lighthouse, Dandelion and Cornish Sign
1 It was a gloriously sunny morning and the Rainbow Maker that I was given for Mother’s Day worked properly for the first time throwing rainbows right through the house to the front door.
2 It was so lovely that I took myself off to Godrevy for a walk and, I hoped, a sit and knit in the sun session but by the time I got there it was cloudy and cool!
3 This dandelion cheered me!
4 As you drive away from Godrevy, where surfers have a fabulous time whatever the weather, there is this splendid road sign.
Posting early as going to another Knit and Natter session for Wool Against Weapons tonight.
The Golden Rule, Winter Walk and Snail Shell
1 Those of you who are regular readers will know I post about the Golden Rule from time to time. This came to me today. I find it fascinating that so many cultures have the same philosophy abut looking after each other – yet governments seem not to be able to follow this really simple rule.
2 We went for a very cold and windy walk today along the cliffs at Sunset Beach near Godrevy. The wind surfers were having great fun. Click on any photo for detail. In the last one you can see that one of the wind-surfers is carried above the waves.
3 There are always pretty snail shells along the cliffs.
Embroidery Threads, Footprints in the Sand and Camellia
1 I went back to my favourite shop today to buy new embroidery threads to complete the pram cover I’m making for the new Grand-baby due in 11 days!
2 We had a lovely sunshiny walk at Godrevy though there is still a very cold wind. Look at the people on the beach!
3 We called in at a new plant nursery just to see what was around and found this very beautiful cream Camellia.
