Vaccine, Blossom and Buns

18 Apr

Coming home from having my second dose of the vaccine today, the Clematis on the front fence was catching the sunlight and looking lovely.  The Stihians Showground vaccination operation is brilliant and staffed by friendly and efficient volunteers.

I made Blueberry Muffins this afternoon – very quick, can be eaten warm and were delicious in the sunshine with a cup of tea.

Glad you got your second shot and that it hasn’t knocked you out. We’ve all vaxxed, too, and so have been a little (just a little!) more adventurous. That clematis is absolutely gorgeous.

Mr S gets his on Wednesday and so, in two weeks, we’ll feel we can be a bit more adventurous too. 🙂

Congratulations on your 2nd shot! I got mine on the 14th (Moderna) and the discomforts have been much less than the first shot. As you say, certainly worth it. I so look forward to freely getting together with family again!
    Good health to us all!

the blueberry muffins look yummy! Congrats on the second vaccine – hope this helps us get on the road to normality again, though I am going to be avoiding crowds for some time to come I think!

Those muffins look scrumptious. I got the Pfizer vaccine. My arm got sore and itchy but it was worth it. Which did you get? Congratulations.

Mine is the Astra Zeneca. The first one gave me pains in every joint and knocked me back for 24 hours. I’m hoping all will be well this time. I’m certainly okay so far 9 hours after the vaccine. And, yes, it is certainly worth any minor discomfort to feel safer again. 🙂
