Trelissick House, View and Gardens

27 Jun

We had a lovely morning with my brother and SIL having a first visit inside Trelissick House since some rooms have been open to the public, then around the gardens and up to the old Cornish Apple Orchard. Click on any photo for the caption.

Now I am seeing spirits and I have had no wine this evening! Good job I have no stairs to climb tonight… Mind you I wouldn’t mind a stairs like that, easy to climb but hard to dust! I love the conservatory and can almost feel the cool air there.

They only opened the few rooms recently. You must go next time, they are so beautifully proportioned and if you like china, there is lots on display. 🙂

Is it me. My eyes. Or just my silliness. Is that an apparition descending the staircase? Love the mystery in this photograph, there is no mistake of that.

From the room with the view, and all the other images, perfect for a down right miserable cold rainy day we are having here. And being on a week long vacation with no plans, I welcome the chance to travel through the Cornish countryside, if but only vicariously. Merci.

Oh, my goodness and it only shows up on camera! Spooky! Sorry you have rain and gloom. Today I will take you across the King Harry Ferry as we go to visit my brother and SIL who are visiting from America. Come with us later! 🙂
