1 In Redruth today there were mince-pies and tangerines, biscuits and hot chocolate all free from the town council and our Mayor was there along with others handing them out to all the shoppers. It was delightful!
2 Today I had the loveliest thank you note from Kari and Lael and photos of their beautiful baby wearing the owl hat I made for him.
3 There is a full moon tonight and I took a series of photos as it rose over the hedge in our back garden.

The owl hat t’z a hoot.
The population of this earth is staggering to comprehend. Yet the two things we’ve all shared throughout the millenniums is the Sun and the Moon. The influence can be seen in the arts, religions, philosophy, psychology and our sciences. In regards to humanity, the Sun and Moon connects individual to individual. I seen your moon tonight, probably about same time as I drove along a highway, on the opposite side of the Atlantic. Yours brought closer, almost within reach. A shared experience despite the distance between. Life affirming and inspiring your photographs. You definitely are a ‘have camera will travel kinda a gal’.

Thank you. I am especially pleased that I have been able to use buttons that date from early 1900’s. My Grandfather was a button salesman and I still have some of his samples on cards. I use them whenever I make something for the newest generation so Ronan is wearing buttons from his Great Great Grandfather’s collection! 🙂
