Pony and Trap, Cupcakes and Knitivity

02 Dec

1   Coming home from Truro this afternoon, we followed a pony and trap up the hill. I love how his hooves flash by.

2   I just love shopping for baking! I really don’t need any more cup-cake  cases but these were too lovely to leave in the shop. Now I shall have to find someone for whom to bake cup-cakes!

3   You may remember that I have been knitting beards and headbands, They were in preparation for the Knitivity event in the Rainforest Biome at Eden. Have a look though the gallery to see how visitors have been enjoying playing dressing-up.

Question – trotter or a pacer ? Answer -trotter.

Can one ship cup cakes to Canada?

    Who could resist dressing up.

How lovely to hear from you! I wish cupcakes would survive the journey, I would love to bake some for you. The pony was going at quite a rate…..does that make him a trotter?
All the best to you. 🙂

ooops, I was in error, your paint pony is a pacer! I may or may not have spent some time at a couple of race tracks. A trotting gait is when the horse’s left front leg moves forward as the back right leg moves forward at the same time. With a pacing gait, the left front leg and left rear leg move forward in unison. And your pony is a free pacer, in that he or she is doing so without hobbles. Head high, ears perky said horse is enjoying his exercise , I think.

All the best to you as well.

Thank you for that info. We had observed the pattern of his feet but not known what it meant. Now, paint pony? 🙂

I would love to make some for you but fear they may not last their journey across the pond! 🙂

Nothing worse than a soggy cupcake. 🙁
