Newlyn, Mousehole, Lamorna and Porthcurno

11 Jul

Come with us as we take my brother around this fascinating part of Cornwall. Click on any photo for detail. Mousehole, by the way, is pronounced Mowzle!
Here is the Newlyn gallery.

Mousehole was completely parked up so this one was taken from the moving car!

Lamorna Valley is one of my favourite places, just breathtakingly beautiful and the water in the cove so clear and lovely.

Porthcurno must be the most beautiful beach in Cornwall, completely unspoilt by anything commercial, soft golden sand and the clearest of aquamarine seas – and to cap it all, the beautiful Minack Theatre built into the cliffs.

Been there, been there…. hehe it is like a walk through memory lane. I loved Moushole, such a sweet village. I have not been to the Minack though. There are still many places to visit.

All places close to my heart. One time my brother ended up washing his jumper off in that Newlyn stream after a seagull “christened” it. We were on our way to The Family Dinner in PZ and it wouldn’t do to arrive looking like that!
