Oh…those look beautiful. Presentation of food at a meal is often overlooked. I can imagine they tasted as good as they looked.

I’d be delighted! I’m going to put the recipe up soon but in the meantime – simmer the peeled pears in red wine flavoured with vanilla pod, cinnamon stick and star anise until soft but firm. Let cool. Cut as shown and cover with dressing which is Dolcelatte (or Roquefort if you like it strong) beaten up with a little low fat creme fraiche and a tablespoon of mayonnaise until creamy and dishable. And there you are! 🙂
