Walking home this morning, through the industrial estate after dropping the car in for a service, I entertained myself searching out signs of Spring on this day, 25th March, when the temperature is not at all Spring-like at 0*. There is snow over much of the UK today (but not in Cornwall) and we are all promised the Beast from the East (a bitter Easterly wind) for another week so I just want to offer hope to everyone who is still waiting for Spring to arrive. Spring will come!

Clever, breaking the pictures into grids, Sally. I don’t know how you did that.

Thanks for the beautiful pictures and the reminder that Spring will come! We woke up to 8 inches of snow this morning in Virginia, USA. Very unusual for this time of year. I was uplifted by reading your post.

I’m delighted that my post had that effect! Thank you for calling in and taking the time to comment. We have unusually cold weather here in Cornwall and much of the UK is under lots of snow. We are very lucky here! 🙂

Lovely. I could do something similar if I had the courage to brace the grey and cold.

I had no choice! The car had to go to the garage and I had to walk back so made the best of it! 🙂

Lovely photos MB…spring is coming although it’s snowing here again. We are expecting about six inches or so. Yesterday I saw some daffodils blooming and it was a nice sunny day. What a difference 24 hours can make!

Thank you for calling in. It’s lovely to have you back again. I hope the snow moves away soon and that your daffodils come through safely. 🙂
