Spring Rabbits, Daisy and Pleasing Purchase

11 Mar

1   The rabbits in the field behind our house are getting very frisky despite the minus temperatures.

2   Hiding under the Pittisporum hedge was this beautiful, delicately pinked daisy, just waiting for some sunshine to encourage it to open up. A Macro Monday photo, you can see the hairiness of the calyx in this close up – lovely.

3    Having gone into town to post T’s card for her 2nd birthday, I couldn’t resist checking out the charity shops for some bright red shoes for our next gig on Friday. I didn’t find any shoes but did find these delightful little egg-cups which will be perfect for the Grandbabies’ boiled eggs at Easter.

Geat pictures! teh egg holders are adorable.
I saw the bunny pic and my first thought was a line from almost every nature documentary I’ve ever seen – “Once, herds of hese noble creatures roamed the plains…”

Thanks a lot! It seems ‘herds of these noble creatures’ are filling our field (It’s not our field! We just call it that!)
      🙂

    Hello,
I am happy to be following your blog :). The first photo of the rabbits made me happy. I’d like to frolic also in the grass- the snow is on the ground… I’ll hold that thought 😉

    Cheers!

I love the rabbits mid spring – how cute! 🙂

As for the egg cups, you know, I’ve always had ‘a thing’ about egg cups. They can be so dang CUTE.

You’re amazing, 3 beautiful things EVERY day… I wish freshly pressed would discover you because I seriously think it’s wonderful how you can manage that. You would inspire many to view the world with greater perspective, if they discovered you, I am sure.

How lovely of you to say so! I’m just delighted that my own delight in the simple and the everyday seems to please so many other people! 🙂
As to the Freshly Pressed thing – I used to wish they would find me and then read how sometimes hundreds of people comment and that it becomes really hard to keep up. I love to reply to everyone and to read other blogs but I’m already having problems keeping up with a modest following so hey – I’m okay with not being Freshly Pressed! And I am very, very happy with my loyal followers and with the lovely friendships I’m making across the world! 🙂

So many rabbits! Do they lunch on your flowers in the spring?

Fortunately, we have a Cornish hedge ( that is, a wall) between us and the rabbits and they ‘ve never been over.i might not like them so much if they did! 🙂
