Like many others, I have a mobile phone to text and talk but it stays in my pocket. My lovely little CanonS100, however, is always in my hand and so I was delighted that I don’t have to use a phone to join in this week’s challenge. The following photos take you on a circular walk from our house and were all taken in the last few months.

Hi ,
I think that your neighborhood is lovely! I love the old cemetery and the dragon on the roof :).
I am also a “black box girl” but am getting out of my comfort zone to use my hubby’s iphone.
I still prefer my Nikon :).

Thank you! I’ve taken a few photos on my phone but it’s not an iphone and the quality isn’t there. Thanks for visiting my blog 🙂

I love snapping around with my phone. I haven’t got a camera so it has really come in useful. Lovely set here!

These are GREAT. I really like them, Sally. Either you are a natural at taking photos, or the world really IS this blooming beautiful 🙂

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. The houses were built around the turn of the century 1890 – 1905 so I guess they are over 100 years old! 🙂

Beautiful shots! That door looks as if a Hobbit should be coming out to ask me in for tea …

I think we do – and that’s all within minutes. Fifteen more in the car and we are at the coast with all the glories to be found there.
All the best to you 🙂
