1 Upstairs, inside the Old Coinage Hall is the very traditional Charlotte’s Tea House where they serve beautiful homemade soup and the most delicious cakes. We stopped there for lunch today and it was lovely.

2 Cathedral Lane is just one of the little byways and alleys in Truro. It is one of the prettiest with the view of the Cathedral.

3 Another alleyway, where you have to walk single file and carry your shopping in front or behind you is the aptly named Squeeze Guts Alley. I always loved this one as a child and I still do!

Never been to Truro but after seeing these I would love to go. Love that name – Squeeze Guts Alley! Nothing like calling something exactly what it is 🙂

I’ve been there for afternoon tea! Truro is a lovely place – have been there researching family history as my great great great relatives come from Feock, Kenwyn, Penelewey…

Well! That’s lovely to know. I lived in Feock for a while as a child – it’s a beautiful place. We’ve eaten at the Punchbowl and Ladle at Peneylewey and I played down at Kenwyn when I was a bit older! 🙂
