1  We bought this delightful mirror many years ago in Penzance and I love it still.

2   I have made a batch of beautiful yellow lemon curd today. It looks gorgeous, smells divine and tastes delicious! The recipe will be in my Food pages soon.

Ooo . . . I do love a delicious lemon-curd! Lemon anything, really. In fact, I just blogged about Oatmeal-lemon creme bars — they turned out fantastic. I love that you used decorative jars and printed fabric; gives it a very wholesome look.

Your mirror is adorable. 🙂 And congrats to you on your 100th follower!

    Blessings,
    Cara

Thank you for visiting my blog and liking my post, Pooh Bear Mirror, Lemon Curd and 100! Thank you for your very kind comments too.
I love lemons too and have a couple of lemony treats to share at some point. I love the sound of your oatmeal lemon creme bars but can’t get Betty Crocker mixes here. I may have to ask my SIL to bring it over when she visits from Atlanta in July.
I just love this post, Rescue me Literature!! I, too, read and read and I echo one of your responders about Follet’s Pillars of the Earth. I’ve just finished One Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamamda Ngozi Adichie about Nigeria – another very different culture – brilliant characterisation, compelling read.
Must get back to sorting our supper of Duck Sausage and Lentil Casserole!
      Thanks – I’m now following
