Our Garden – Six on Saturday

Our garden is full of colour and is a great comfort to us.

For other lovely gardens to check out, call in on The Propagator  where you will also find a participants’ guide.

It is the birth date of Paul Robeson whose singing I love. Check out here for why and a recording of The Ballad of Joe Hill.

Leaf, Lupin and A Bee

I love the colours of these leaves in Autumn.

We have a Lupin in flower on the last day of September.

The Clematis, Bill Mackenzie, is alive with bees all day. The yellow flowers on the wall outside the kitchen look like a constant stream of sunlight and clearly, they are very attractive to the bees.

Cream Tea, Fuchsia and Clematis

When we met Daughter No 1 in Exeter the other day, we took her a jar of our freshly made Blackberry and Apple Jam. Last night M sent us a photo of the cream tea that she made with the scrumptious jam!

The Fuchsia that we were given last Summer is blooming beautifully after being cut hard down.

The Bill Mackenzie Clematis is coming into flower.  There are dozens of buds so it will just get better and better.
