A quiet walk early this morning and beautiful views along the North coast. We spotted six different kinds of butterfly, a good record for Butterfly Watch Week.
There were various varieties of lichen on the rocks. I like the profile of this one against the blues of the sea.
A gift of four lovely looking baking potatoes was waiting for us when we went down to water my seeds at the allotment tonight. They will make splendid dinners. Thank you S&M. (I put M&S first but then, dear Reader, you might have thought that they came from the store!)

Always pleasing to see the Cornish coast, whether from a distance or up close.

I think of you when I take these pictures and post them with you in mind. 🙂

Marks and Sparks! Haven’t seen them referenced in a long time!
Nice spuds.
I’m hoping it warms up a bit soon so’s I can plant some potatoes.

Wasn’t sure how many would get the M&S reference! We need to plant some potatoes sometime too. Those just-out-of-the-ground ones were delicious. 🙂

It’s a major staple especially at our spot so I want to try to eventually be self- sufficient in spuds if I can.
A lot of it is trial and error for me but maybe I’ll sort it out eventually.

I think early morning is going to be the only time it is quiet for the next 6 weeks!
