Here in the high desert of Arizona, we’re four months away from sprouting plants. Today, about 10 inches of snow!

Wow! Family in Munich are sharing photos of similar amounts of snow. Actually, we would quite like some but we do like that out flowers are beginning to show their shoots, many about 4″ tall and some bigger! 🙂

It had been milder again , so things grow, hopefully it does not get too cold anymore!

I think another very chilly spell is forecast! I haven’t forgotten your angel – when lockdown is over I’ll get to the Post Office. 🙂

    I grew purple beans once . . .

After cooking, they looked just like regular green beans.
One of the biggest disappointments of my gardening life.

We grew them last year and, yes, a big disappointment when cooked and the colour goes but they look good growing and they do taste good! The purple Mangetouts we grew last year stayed purple but we bought those seedlings and will have to wait to get them in May. 🙂

Those lavender buds are surely far too early?

Indeed they are and very surprising. They’ll need some protection if we get the next cold blast we are promised. 🙂
