We had coffee in Waterstones this morning and on leaving, the cover on a little book all about the Wren caught the eye of the Lovely Mr S. I couldn’t leave it in the store! I started reading it this afternoon and it is a delight.
Walking past The Mansion House in Truro we were both very taken with the Camellia in full bloom.
In the Pannier Market, hanging above our heads, was one of the lovely lanterns from the Truro City of Lights Parade 2019. They are always so beautifully crafted.

Bookshops are deadly places to visit. I can never leave one without buying something. The wren and the robin would have found their way into my hand!

We are just the same – pop in for a coffee saying, “We don’t need any books, do we?” and coming out with at least one and sometimes an armful!

Sally, I have just brought the book on the robin by the same author. The wren is next on my list!

The book has started well so I’ll let you know how it goes. He has written the Biography of a Robin too, I understand, from Sandra.
Yes, some Rooster! 🙂
