On my walk along the lane today, these berries made a bright flash in the gloom. I’m sure someone can tell me why they are still all here when the Cotoneaster plants in our garden have been stripped. Are they poisonous to birds?
I love how Hydrangea flowers hang on and on getting more delicate by the day.
My Sister is an artist who lives in Hawaii . This is one of her beautiful pieces.

Spotted laurel or Aucuba japonica Variegata I believe. Good for coastal locations. I think berries are poisonous to humans and livestock, not sure about birds.
