Cake, Oak Tree and Nasturtium Crisps

I tried a new cake recipe this morning and it is scrummy!  It is Apricot and Blueberry Crumble Cake.

My walk took me along the Until the Day Break route today, through the two graveyards remembering all the stories that we told. This beautiful old Oak tree is where the audience started their journey.

A young friend told me recently that she had made some Nasturtium Crisps so I asked for the recipe and made some this afternoon – crunchy and tasty with the sesame oil and sea salt sprinkles. Thanks Debs.

Road Trip Day 13 – The Durango to Silverton Railroad

 Sunday 16th September 2018

Great excitement today as we arrived at the station in Durango ready for a two and a half hour trip on the historic steam train through to Silverton and back again. Join us on this delightful trip, enjoy the steam engine and the spectacular leaf colours.

We had lunch in Silverton, took the train back to Durango where we had an excellent dinner at Ken and Sue’s and ended the evening with live music in the Diamond Belle Saloon.
