Today, Bonfire Night in Great Britain, is my Mum’s birthday. As a little girl, she thought everyone was celebrating her birthday with bonfires and fireworks. She was born in 1914, 101 years ago.
My Mum and her little brother
Here I show you another section of my print tray with two more of the little brass owls, some more of my keys, a stripy piece of stone from The Grand Canyon, a grey stone from a Cornish beach and a lump of lava from Hawaii. The dark shiny stone was collected by my Mum and Dad many, many years ago. They thought it looked like a statue of the Madonna and Child. The little house with the words, Live the life you love, we bought in New England a couple of years ago. Four more sections to go…….

Love the photo of your mom and uncle. What cuties! My sister was born of the 5th of July and thought the July 4th fireworks were for her.

Seed head silhouette, soothing intricacy. A reminder to look to the sky every now and then.
.The hand tinted print of your mother and her brother, timeless. Looks like curly locks rock in your genes. He’s grinning and looking at someone off to the side, and she very cool as cucumber looks deep into the lens. Something about barefoot children that just seem to say -happy and content.

The stone with the stripe through it is an indication of flowing magma that caused the breakup of the great continent of Pangea … I see the Mary and son in the other. Very nice.
