6th June I baked a cake to sell at a Ceilidh that was held last night to raise funds for a volunteering trip to Uganda.
Today – the sun is shining and this Iris has bloomed.

I am jealous, no honeysuckle here yet. 🙁 I too make a cake yesterday. it is for sharing with anyone who cares to visit, but I will have to eat a slice … just to sociable. This on is made with oil. 🙂 I love the colour of the Iris.

Sadly, however pretty the honeysuckle is, it has no scent and, I am afraid will not last another season if it doesn’t buck its ideas up! 🙂

Love that sea of purple!
Sally, i just published my book. It’s a joke, of course, and probably not your cup of tea, but if there’s anyone in your local Humanist group who’s interested in Christian philosophy (and a giggle) then please let them know 🙂

On my blog. On the right hand side there’s the cover. Click on that and it goes through to Amazon.com.
I think this is the UK link, though:
