Clematis, Spire and Red Pepper

1   Two Niobe flowers – one fading, one fresh and both beautiful.

2   I took a photo of a delicate Church spire as we drove through North London this afternoon.

First thing to pop to mind when I seen your image of St John the Baptist Church Spire -just image all the grey it has had to poke through over the years. A silly thought none the less, a thought.

As is often the case here, I am reminded how different our growing seasons really are. I just planted my pimento peppers a couple weeks ago and I won’t being seeing any red till late August.

And a fine red pepper is theirs; they should be proud.
