Pomegranate, Salad and A Sign (Weekly Photo Challenge)

09 Jun

1    Isn’t the pomegranate just beautiful when cut open!

2    We used the seeds for this fabulous salad full of flavour and texture – Chicken, Basil and Avocado Salad with added sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, pine nuts and the gloriously glistening pomegranate jewels.

Super salad

3   L&T visited for the day with Grandbaby B and we had a delightful walk in the woods. The Free range chickens sign amused us all but we didn’t meet any chickens……

Delightful sign

Delightful sign – last week’s challenge but too good not to share!

Signs around our place say DEER CROSSING.
I could give some “Why did the chicken cross the road?” jokes, but I won’t.

    Beautiful pictures!!

Thank you. The pomegranate seeds do look most exotic and lovely don’t they? 🙂

The fungus looks like Donald Duck! Did you post the salad recipe – it looks wonderful. Love the sign about the chickens
