It was a cold and windy day for a walk in very welcome bright sunshine along the cliffs at St Agnes.
The gorse along the cliffs was glowing yellow.
Driving home we followed a kiss in the sky.

Another month has gone by already! Here is the Happiness Calendar for August.
Our walk this morning along the coastal path at St Agnes Head was remarkably busy! Okay, it’s August in Cornwall! Our drive there was the hairiest it’s ever been down the little country lanes as we encountered caravans, trailers, a silver bullet caravan and RVs, none of them very willing to pull over and not one of them waving to say thanks for us backing up and tucking in. I’m thinking they aren’t all rude but maybe scared of the situation and concentrating hard. Out of season it is extremely rare that drivers don’t wave to each other after manoeuvring in the lanes.
The views through the mist towards St Ives were glorious, of course, and the buzzy red daytime moths, Cinnabars, are quite charming.
