My job at Community Roots today was planting the flower seeds for the pollinators that go in each row 11 – 10 veg rows and one flower row all the way across the patch.
The sculpture next door is changing every day with some of the wood added to the tail today. There has been much entertaining speculation from passers by wondering what is going on – drilling for oil or mining for lithium perhaps! Today, next doors’ sculptors have put the maquette at the front of the drive, a fox in the act of leaping onto its prey. 
Jamie Oliver has a new short series on TV about cooking with an air-fryer. Tonight I made his fish dish, haddock with sun-dried tomato pesto and parma ham on a bed of garlicky beans. It was delicious and took 15 minutes from start to on the table!
