Last night’s sunset was glorious, a fiery orange cloud hovering over the tennis courts nearby.
Many Clematis are blooming and this purple one is lovely.
We bought a new beautiful blue Hydrangea today to go with the others I showed you a day or two ago. Click here if you missed them..
Our heatwave seems to have passed on by but the rest of the country and Europe are still sweltering. Here it’s just summertime warmth. How is it with you?

It’s hot here, but normal Florida hot ~ in the 90’s with lots of humidity. I expect we’ll see cooler temps in September or October. 😀

79 f and cloudy here in southern Maine, USA. Expecting temps to reach 90 f later in the week. I feel cranky just thinking about it.

My sister lives in Brittany. She mentioned it was pushing 40c at her spot earlier this week.
Meantime….. Freezing cold down here in Jo’burg.

Indeed, Europe has been even hotter than the UK. Our family in Barcelona have been going for their walks at 6 am to avoid the heat. I’m so glad it has cooled a little though we have benefitted with our new solar panels!
