We met friends for a very sociable and tasty breakfast this morning and afterwards had a very brief and very hot walk on the beach.
On the way back to the car park these beauties caught my eye.
Our beautiful little guest, Fern, has settled in already, is loving being stroked and has a mighty purr – just delightful. What lovely and unusual markings she has. .

Love the thistles. They make me think of Scotland, although they’re not Scottish thistles. You’ll have to keep the cat, you know.

I won’t show Ems … she adores tortoiseshell cats and she might ask you to send her over!

She’s a lovely colour, but warning, torties are crazy cats!

She certainly wants lots of our attention but hasn’t shown her craziness yet – except for wanting to play with my earrings, when they are in my ears! 🙂

Beautiful cat! I think it’s referred to as a Tortoiseshell.
