It’s July already! Here is this month’s Happiness Calendar, Jump Back Up July, how to be more resilient in these difficult times.
We are not mowing all our lawn, just paths through and around it. Welly Dog seems to be enjoying our new meadow.
I’m loving the contrast of the black seeds of Muscari in their skeleton pods.

I really see how effective the calendar would be, especially to someone like me who suffers from depression. thanks for sharing.
We have practised differential mowing for several years now and the difference it makes to wildlife is amazing making it so worthwhile.

I’m really glad that you might find the calendar positive and helpful. I really like them – they just remind me of what I should be doing to stay on top.
I haven’t heard the expression ‘differential mowing’ before. I like it. We have so many pollinators visiting the clover and the buttercups and I’m noticing more of them on there flowers too. I love how it looks too with its very neat curvy paths and the ‘meadow’ all around.
All the best to you.
