Another bunch of Daffodils bringing us joy……
I rarely use this lovely quirky beaker given to me by a young colleague when I retired in 2006: I just have it on display.
We really miss seeing the ‘Nearly Home Trees’ when we return from up-country as we haven’t been away for well over a year. This piece of fused glass hangs in our kitchen window and pleases us both.

The mug is lovely but has one of those quirky handles that you cannot help but spill your drink with! I imagine that’s the reason you have it on display. And, yes, the coming home trees are sorely missed.

Exactly so! I’ve now moved it to the table to keep pens and pencils in. At least it’s now being used! 🙂

I have a favourite mug which had its handle broken, but I couldn’t bear to throw it out so it is my pen holder on my desk where I can look at it every day.

Most of my favourite broken pieces are in my Boody garden. You can read about it here, https://mybeautfulthings.com/2019/05/18/six-on-saturday-boody-garden-and-more/. 🙂

I love the ‘nearly home trees’ fused glass. We call them ‘the Watership Down trees’ . Lulu x
