Rain, Sewing and A Lane

28 Apr

It rained in the night and the garden seems delighted! I spent most of the rainy day sewing and completed my first six scrub caps. Our walk was short, just along the lane where we foraged more Wild garlic and dodged a shower.

Love the lane photo! The rain seems to work magic on all the little spring plants, my onions and sunflowers have all popped up after the showers we’ve had here.

The lane photo is magical. I remember my gran in Royston taking us for walks to a small wood she claimed was fairyland and it went along a similar path. Of course, I gave up such beliefs once I was 30.

What a lovely memory. I’m sorry you gave up the belief as early as 30…….. 🙂

I was obliged to after my parents stop putting sixpence under my pillow when I lost a tooth. It was either ‘fess up or me having to have false teeth.
